Responsibilities*
Mouse genotyping and colony management. Experiments to support ongoing research including: Stereotactic brain injections, Surgical procedures and injections, Tissue dissection and processing, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Confocal microscopy and In situ hybridization. Provide technical training to other lab members. Excellent attendance record.
Required Qualifications*
The applicant must have a BS degree in neuroscience or biological sciences with one year of previous experience in neuroscience or biological sciences. Previous lab experience is required. Curiosity, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are essential. Critical thinking abilities are a must. The applicant will learn and train other lab personnel in techniques, thus the candidate should be detail-oriented, function well in a team, exhibit good interpersonal skills, and demonstrate respect for others. The candidate should be highly motivated and capable of functioning autonomously to complete goals. Furthermore, the position necessitates a candidate with organizational skills, ability to manage time, and demonstrated accountability and long-term commitment. Excellent attendance record.

Additional Information
This is a one-year term limited appointment, with the possibility of renewal or promotion based on performance.
