Purpose:
The globally recognized Tauber Institute for Global Operations provides the curriculum, program initiatives, community involvement, and alumni outreach activities that deliver exceptional resources for future business leaders. The Institute provides coaching, and community building across our cohort of Ross and College of Engineering students. This completed curriculum leads to a student's Tauber Fellows designation. As the Assistant Director, you will manage the Tauber Fellow's Program. You will be involved in the design, evaluation, and budget management of the program. You will contribute to our positive and inclusive work community by building trusting partnerships across the school, creating impactful experiences, and generating results. You will report to our Managing Director & Head of Industry Partnerships.

Responsibilities*
- Manage all programming across four degreed programs including Tauber curriculum design, schedule, coordination of faculty and students, logistics, venues, housing, program materials, and travel.
- You will work with internal partners to develop ground-up program materials.
- You will be involved in the student interview process.
- Advise students on curriculum and monitor their course registration and progress.
- You will build a process for student programming and project management, while analyzing the effectiveness of programming and making recommendations for innovation.
- Partner with the Managing Director to ensure programming aligns with strategic direction and learning objectives.
- Manage budget.
- You will own the Marketing, Communications, and Social media plans for Tauber students at the College of Engineering and Ross School of Business.
- You will work onsite in Ann Arbor, MI at least 3 days per week.
- Plan to attend regular evening and weekend events.
- You will be a mentor to students, while also focusing on building your brand and credibility with internal and external partners.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- You have a strong commitment to DEI.
- Demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain and Operations Industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience building content for programs or curriculums.
- Interested in Learning and Development.
- Demonstrated experience building trust with internal and external partners.
- Experience in fiscal management and reporting.
- Willing to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends for events.
Additional Information
The general salary range for this position is $68,000-$76,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
