Summary
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Department of Orthopedics are looking for a faculty member to lead the non-operative sports medicine group. The candidate will lead the non-operative sports medicine program and provide leadership on clinical and administrative issues. The candidate will closely work under the direction of Dr. Nitin Jain in PM&R and Dr. Bruce Miller in Orthopaedics. The candidate will have their primary faculty appointment in PM&R with a secondary appointment in Orthopaedics. Among other practice sites, the candidate will also practice at MedSport which is the premier sports medicine practice location at University of Michigan. There will be opportunities for sports coverage. The candidate will actively participate in the training of fellows and contribute towards the education mission. The faculty rank and track will be determined based on qualification of the candidate. A mid to senior career faculty member is being sought for this position at the level of Clinical Associate Professor or full Clinical Professor.

Required Qualifications*
The ideal candidate should have an MD or DO, and postgraduate clinical training. The candidate will also need qualifications in sports medicine such as (but not limited to) completion of an accredited sports medicine fellowship. They should hold or can obtain the appropriate medical license in the State of Michigan as well as be board certified or board eligible.
